Here at Boxer FM, not only do we pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with clients, but we take the wellbeing and happiness of our staff extremely seriously, in fact it’s a top priority.
We think having happy employees has a lot to do with how they are treated, and we believe certain things need to be present in our own organisation, such as: respect, fairness, trust and listening. In this blog we look at what makes employees happy…
Respect
Simon, who is one of our area supervisors, spoke recently of the importance of treating everybody how he himself would like to be treated. It doesn’t matter if they are a company director, client, or staff he manages because they all deserve the same respect. We’ll certainly take a leaf out of your book Simon.
Fairness
This is important and the lack of it erodes trust. Employees want to be treated the same, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or gender. We are an equal opportunities employer, and we pay our staff the same rates for doing the same job.
Listening
This is being humble and always searching for the best idea possible. Listening gives us the ability to connect with people on all levels and from all backgrounds. Our staff know that when they share an idea, we consider it when making a decision. The one thing that everybody appreciates and wants when they're speaking, is to know that what they say matters.
Trust
This is when we ask our staff to do whatever is right when servicing the customer. This is why we have such a great reputation for delivering a high standard of service and achieving customer satisfaction.
We recognise that organisations that have a lot of happy employees have three times the revenue growth, compared to organisations where that is not the case. Although we are by no means perfect, we are happy to know that our staff say that Boxer FM is a good place to work!
